Designed by Prussian-American artist Nicola Marschall of Marion, Alabama, the First National flag of the Confederate States of America ("Stars and Bars") was adopted by the C.S. Congress on March 4, 1861 and was used until May 1, 1863. This flag is made of heavy duty 600-D polyester with sewn stripes and stars and includes brass grommets. Available in three sizes.
