After the election of Abraham Lincoln as president in November 1860, unofficial flags consisting of a single star on a solid background began appearing across the South. The best known of the single-star flags was the Bonnie Blue flag. The Georgia secession flag of the same design, but with a red star on a solid white background, was flown in Augusta and Milledgeville in January of 1861. This flag is made of quality 100-D printed polyester and includes brass grommets and extra stitching on the fly-end for added durability. Available in two sizes: 3'x5' or 5'x8'.
