The Department of the Trans-Mississippi was organized on May 26, 1862 and consisted primarily of the three Confederate States west of the Mississippi River (Texas, Louisiana, and Arkansas), the contested State of Missouri, and two Confederate territories - the Indian Territory and Confederate Arizona. The Army of the Trans-Mississippi was commanded by General E. Kirby Smith and its battle flag copied the design of the Army of Tennessee's battle flag, but with the colors reversed. This 5.5"x3.5" bumper sticker is printed in vivid color on weatherproof vinyl material. Very durable and will not leave sticky residue when removed.
